No problem

To get syndaemon to start automatically, simply add an entry for it in “Startup Programs” in the system menu (in Ubuntu that is).

I’m using this on an Eee PC 1005HA with Crunchbang and it solved a problem where pasting text into a text editor wasn’t always going where I specified. Thanks. Now I just have to figure out how to start ’syndaemon -d’ automatically.
